MODERNISTIC has added Shape3D^® Digital Projection Signage to its diverse portfolio of capabilities. This digital projection signage system uses a screen to capture all available projected light. The screens can be custom cut into any shape. We also make screens in a self-adhesive film that can be applied to windows, transparent partitions, free standing, countertop and hanging panels. For the maximum impact the screen may be cut into different shapes and sizes; is fast and easy to apply and remove; and can be integrated with other point of sale graphics. The custom cut screen is a “show stopper” to an audience that is used to a rectangular multi-media presentation. The projected image has a multi-dimensional look.

MODERNISTIC also was awarded Public Venue Application, Excellence in Creativity in the 4th Annual DIGI Awards for the Best Buy Living Standee. The winners were announced In October 2008 at the Digital Signage Show in New York. Judges for the 2008 DIGI Awards were: Alan Brawn, principal, Brawn Consulting; Lyle Bunn, principal, Lyle Bunn Consulting; David Keene, executive editor of Digital Signage Magazine and DIGI Awards chairman.

The “living poster” is a combination of digital signage and a printed graphic. In the above example we printed a watch band on vinyl film with the watch face made with rear projection film which gives it a dynamic dimension.
